Un prestigioso riconoscimento per il pianista Michele D'Ascenzo che ha ricevuto il Premio Internazionale Medaglia d'Oro "Maison des Artistes", giunto quest'anno alla sua decima edizione. D'Ascenzo ha ritirato il Premio, medaglia d'oro e motivazione in pergamena, nella Cerimonia di Gala pubblica tenutasi venerdì 18 novembre 2022 presso l'Aula Magna dell'Università degli Studi La Sapienza di Roma durante la quale si è esibito offrendo un'apprezzata esecuzione della terza ballata di Fryderyk Chopin. Il Premio è promosso dall'Associazione "Maison des Artistes", presieduta dal dott. Eugenio Morgia e con la direzione artistica del Maestro Gabriella Artale, e viene assegnato annualmente a personalità che si sono distinte in vari settori culturali, artistici, scientifici e nell'impegno sociale. Tra gli illustri premiati di quest'anno, insieme a Michele D'Ascenzo, anche il regista Dario Argento, gli attori Valeria Fabrizi, Stefano Fresi, le sorelle Izzo, il cantautore Marco Masini, professori universitari, professionisti e associazioni benefiche. Il maestro D'Ascenzo è stato premiato come pianista concertista «per il suo percorso brillante presso il Conservatorio dell'Aquila e come recente musicologo all'Università "La Sapienza" di Roma, per il suo ruolo di solista in importanti orchestre e numerosi recital sia in Italia che all'estero nonché per le sue esecuzioni che accompagnano la magia del suono ad una tecnica molto solida, permettendogli di interpretare pagine impegnative della letteratura pianistica».
A prestigious award for the pianist Michele D'Ascenzo who received the "Maison des Artistes" Gold Medal International Award, now in its tenth edition. D'Ascenzo collected the Award, gold medal and motivation on parchment, in the public Gala Ceremony held on Friday 18 November 2022 in the Aula Magna of La Sapienza University of Rome during which he performed offering an appreciated performance of Fryderyk Chopin's third ballad. The Prize is promoted by the "Maison des Artistes" Association, chaired by Dr. Eugenio Morgia and with the Artistic Direction of Maestro Gabriella Artale, and is awarded annually to personalities who have distinguished themselves in various cultural, artistic, scientific and social commitment sectors. Among the illustrious winners of this year, together with Michele D'Ascenzo, also the director Dario Argento, the actors Valeria Fabrizi, Stefano Fresi, the Izzo sisters, the singer-songwriter Marco Masini, university professors, professionals and charities. Michele D'Ascenzo was awarded as a concert pianist «for his brilliant career at the Conservatory of L'Aquila and as a recent musicologist at the "La Sapienza" University of Rome, for his role as soloist in important orchestras and numerous recitals both in Italy and abroad as well as for his performances which accompany the magic of sound with a very solid technique, allowing him to interpret demanding pages of piano literature».
